Prayer for fulfilment of desires
Lord, only you truly know the deep down desires of my heart.
Help me cultivate those desires that are born of you,
and give me discernment and courage to cast aside those that draw me away.
Show me how to nurture and develop the talents you have bestowed.
Help me persevere when the going is difficult.
Let me see the way forward when the path is unclear.
And as you walk beside me, hold my hand,
and teach me how to walk in step with you.
